Cabarrus County Schools is directing families to a district web page listing holiday gift and toy programs for those who need help this season.

The district's Family and Student Support staff highlighted the Holiday Assistance Programs 2026 page in an Oct. 27 announcement, encouraging CCS families to visit and learn about available community programs. The district's Friday Five newsletter also pointed families to the page on Oct. 23.

Two programs are listed so far.

The YMCA Empty Stocking Fund opened applications on Oct. 14. Application materials are available in both English and Spanish. Concord and Kannapolis residents who want holiday toy assistance are directed to apply through the Empty Stocking Fund, according to the district's page.

Toys for Tots applications are open separately for families in Midland, Mt. Pleasant and Harrisburg.

The district encouraged families to check the page regularly for updates.
