More than 35,000 Cabarrus County students returned to class Wednesday, Aug. 12, with three brand-new campuses opening for the first time, including the 756-capacity Coltrane-Webb STEM Elementary in Concord and the expanded Opportunity School that adds 63 pre-K seats.
