Live music, vegan food trucks and plant-based vendors are headed to Cabarrus Brewing Company in Concord for two fall afternoons starting Sunday, Oct. 18.

The Vegan Vibes Music Series will run from 1 to 6 p.m. that day at the brewery, located at 329 McGill Ave. NW. A second date is set for Sunday, Nov. 15, from noon to 5 p.m.

The series pairs live performances with vendors selling vegan and plant-based food and products. It is open to families and pets.

Performers Amy Walls and Jaycee are scheduled for the fall dates, according to a video announcement on the series' Facebook page. Additional vendor details have not been announced publicly.

The event listing on the Cabarrus Arts Council's calendar says attendees do not need to follow a vegan lifestyle to come out. The listing encourages anyone interested in live music, food and community to attend.

The series is not new to Concord. Its Instagram account, @veganvibemusicseries, shows event highlights at Cabarrus Brewing dating back to 2021. After a break, the series returned to the McGill Avenue brewery on May 3, billing the comeback as a return "to our roots."

Cabarrus Compass listed the Oct. 18 date as the "Vegan Vibes Music Series, Fall Edition," noting live music, vegan food trucks and vendors.

No admission price has been published for either date. The series directs those seeking vendor slots or event details to its website.

It is unclear whether the Cabarrus Arts Council is helping organize the series or simply listing it on its community calendar. The council can be reached at (704) 920-2787 or [email protected].
